NEW ORLEANS AREA HABITAT FOR HUMANITY

DEVELOPMENT AND FINANCIAL SUPPORT

Urban Focus® prepared a feasibility study for the mixed use development at Rising Oaks, a new community to be developed with New Orleans Area Habitat for Humanity in the Terrytown neighborhood of Jefferson Parish in Louisiana. We continue to provide technical assistance and financial development support for the project. The housing and mixed-use development is composed of two phases. Phase one has 153 single-family homes, including 46 smaller cottages for senior housing, walkable areas, parks, and health care amenities. The second phase is proposed to include up to 73 housing units, 1 and 2 bedrooms, and approximately 30,000 sf of commercial and office space. The construction of the first phase is expected to start on 2023.
