TECHNICAL AND FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE

Urban Focus® provided assistance to Oakland Housing Initiatives (OHI) in the financial development and creation of affordable housing. Urban Focus has supported OHI in the following efforts:

  • Urban Focus® assisted Oakland Housing Authority with the development of funding products to support their redevelopment efforts.

  • Foothill Family Apartments was the centerpiece for a neighborhood feasibility study to determine Oakland Housing Initiatives role in East Oakland. 

  • Urban Focus® prepared the Request for Proposals for the Oakland Housing Authority to select a development team for the refinancing and redevelopment this 65 unit multi-family property.

  • 77th and Bancroft is a new development in East Oakland. Urban Focus®, initially prepared the feasibilty study and ultimately, in coordination with OHA, prepared the Request for Proposals to select the development partner for the project.

  • Urban Focus® acts as the ongoing project manager for the OAHPI Strategic Plan to reconfigure, redevelop or dispose of 238 OHA owned and managed properties (1541 units) located throughout Oakland.
