OWNER’S REPRESENTATION/ DEVELOPMENT CONSULTING

Founded in 2012, Bastion Community of Resilience is provides a supportive living environment for injured veterans and their families within their intentionally designed neighborhood by augmenting their care with neighbors, volunteers, and specialists for a holistic approach to community integration. Bastion is currently building a two-story, 10,338 square foot wellness center to be comprised of spaces dedicated to health and wellness services, such as occupational therapy, physical therapy, mental health services, community events, and gym-indoor exercise, along with additional office space to house the increase in Bastion’s workforce necessary to implement its increase in services and programming. Urban Focus has acted as Owner’s Representative for the duration of the project, working with consultants, developing the timeline, preparing and managing the pro forma and working with owner to obtain State and Federal New Market Tax Credits, State Capital Outlay Funding and other State and Federal funding for the project. The project is scheduled to be completed and operational by the fourth quarter of 2025. This project was recently awarded the QLICI Award in the Small Business Category by Novogradac to be presented at the June 2025 Novogradac NMTC Conference in Washington DC
